Our brand needed to rise to meet that responsibility.
Mission-Grade Discipline, Built Into Trust
Before founding Drata and my first startup Portfolium, I worked as an aerospace engineer on NASA’s Space Shuttle Program. In aerospace, progress depends on discipline. Every component is validated. Every signal is verified. Decisions are documented, reviewed, and tested because the cost of uncertainty is too high. Astronauts trusted thousands of engineers to bring them home safely, and that trust was earned through rigor.
That experience shaped how I think about technology and growth. Deploying AI systems without fully understanding their risk is like launching an untested rocket. Innovation only scales when trust is engineered into the system from the beginning.
Today, enterprises are deploying AI agents, expanding cloud infrastructure, and managing vast vendor ecosystems. The velocity of change is extraordinary. Unifying Under One Trust Layer
Last year, we acquired SafeBase to unify governance, risk, compliance, and assurance into a single Aagentic Trust Management Platform. Since then, we’ve seen firsthand how integrating proactive compliance with seamless assurance changes the way organizations build and prove trust.
Security teams leveraging the SafeBase Trust Center have influenced $20 billion in revenue by accelerating security reviews and reducing friction in the buying process. In less than 2 years, our AI Questionnaire Assistance has processed well over two million security questions, transforming what was once manual and repetitive into scalable, intelligent workflows. With our brand evolution, we are consolidating under a single name: Drata. The SafeBase company brand will be unified into Drata to create a consistent Trust Management experience across the platform.
For our customers, continuity is paramount. The Trust Center remains a core component of the Drata platform. AI Questionnaire Assistance continues as a central capability. Existing features, integrations, contracts, pricing, URLs, and security standards remain unchanged. Ownership has been under Drata since the acquisition, and this brand unification does not alter how data is stored, handled, or supported.
This alignment reflects how our customers already experience the platform. Governance, risk, compliance, and assurance are interconnected signals within a single trust system. Bringing them together under one brand clarifies our direction and reinforces our commitment to continuous trust.
We will continue investing deeply in agentic AI capabilities across the platform, including enhancements to AI Questionnaire Assistance and the Trust Center. As environments grow more complex and AI becomes embedded into daily operations, trust programs must operate with greater speed, intelligence, and transparency.
